An Information Session and Town Hall was held on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at 7pm,Gagetown Legion Branch 71, 81 Tilley Rd, Gagetown, NB with approximately 25 participants.

With the introduction of a new by-law designating certain streets in Ward 2 accessible to all-terrain vehicles, Arcadia will host an information session and town hall to provide residents an opportunity to learn about plans to establish a multi-purpose trail in Gagetown. All are welcome.

In 2018, the former Village of Gagetown signed an agreement with Quad NB (the NB ATV Federation), granting access to the former rail bed owned by the village, for development and use as a multi-purpose trail.

This new by-law puts in place the legal framework to allow ATVs to cross streets and travel along certain roads for the purposes of connecting with the existing trail system. In addition, there are municipally owned lands that will also be included in a new agreement with QUAD NB but are not part of the by-law as they are closed roads. See attached presentation by QUAD NB of the trail, and the additional PIDs being considered for the revised agreement.

Invitation to comment on By-Law 11 – Designating Streets Accessible to All-terrain Vehicles (applicable to Ward 2 Gagetown)

The public is invited to comment on the DRAFT By-law No. 11 “A By-law Designating Streets Accessible to All-terrain Vehicles”, which received first and second reading at the Regular Council meeting on Tuesday May 20, 2025 (below).

Comments must be provided no later than Thursday, July 31, 2025.
