Garbage Collection

The Village of Arcadia has contracted BMI for residential garbage pick-up services.
If you have any questions pertaining garbage pick-up or if your garbage was missed, please contact BMI at 506-209-0669.

Collection Dates:

Ward 1: Upper Gagetown – Wednesdays
Ward 2: Gagetown – Thursdays
Ward 3: Hampstead – Wednesdays
Ward 4: Cambridge – Fridays
Ward 5: Cambridge-Narrows – Mondays
Ward 6: Waterborough – Tuesdays

Please Note:

• Garbage must be at the roadside by 7:00am
• Cardboard boxes must be broken down and tied in bundles or put in a garbage bag
• House maintenance (construction waste) is not considered regular household waste and will NOT be picked up
• All garbage must be bagged or in a cardboard box. LOOSE GARBAGE IN BINS WILL NOT BE PICKED UP
• Maximum 23kg per bag and 1.2m x 0.6m x 0.6m for cardboard boxes
• There will be two special pickups scheduled in the spring and fall for large household items (dates to be announced annually)
• Non-residential customers need to make their own arrangements, either by delivering their waste to the landfill or by contacting a private garbage collector.

As of May 1, 2024, Circular Materials is responsible for all recycling in New Brunswick.
