Arcadia is pleased to announce that we are one of the 10 recipients that will receive funding from the Earth Day Charged for Change Program in 2025. The funding will cover capital costs to install the first two public Level 2 charging stations in our municipality. The chargers, one at the Cambridge-Narrows Library and the other at the Gagetown Recreation Centre, will accommodate two vehicles at a time. This sustainable transportation infrastructure will help build a greener future and provide a service to residents, local businesses, and tourism. All revenue generated from the stations will go to the municipality to cover operating and maintenance costs.
