Access to Healthcare

If you are without a primary health care provider or cannot access them and have a non-urgent concern, there are several points of service available to you. These include access to virtual care, walk-in clinics, 811, and pharmacists who can provide you with prescriptions or advice on minor illnesses or health issues.
The following link will bring you to a Horizon Health website that provides more information on each of these options including the location of walk-in clinics and the link to E-Visit: Your Health Care Options.
If you don’t have a primary health care provider and want to be placed on the wait list, you can register through NB Health Link Registration Page.
NB Health Link may also provide access to health care while you wait for a permanent provider (NB Health Link has replaced Patient Connect NB). For more information, go to the NB Health Link Homepage.
You can learn more about access to a range of addictions and mental health services for adults, children and youth.
